An anthology comic of humor and action stories
Between New Comics and Adventure Comics there was New Adventure Comics. After issue #11 New Comics was retitled New Adventure Comics until after issue #31 where it became the well known DC Comics title Adventure Comics. New Adventure Comics was an anthology book which featured everything from stories about cowboys to stories about vikings. It also would contain stories of humor. Obviously its successor title Adventure Comics was a direct product of the super hero wave that came to define what comics mean to the public at large.
