What's Fantastic Four #3 worth in 2024?

No sale of the only known NM/MT 9.8 copy has ever been reported. It's easy to imagine this issue would bring north of $100,000. The highest graded copy to reach the market was a CGC NM+ 9.6 that went for almost $40,000 back in 2012. The top grossing sale of Fantastic Four (1963) #3 was sold for $102,000 in April 2022. This sale was of a NM 9.4 graded copy. FN 6.0 copies sold for $800 and bring double that today at $4,070 and lower grade GD 2.0 can be picked up today for around $800. Those same books brought only $175 in 2009. These early issues of Fantastic Four are some of the great deals out there on Silver Age books!

Why is this comic book valuable?

Fantastic Four #3 is valuable because it contains the 3rd appearance of the team, the 1st team appearance of the Fantastic Four in costume and the 1st appearance of the Baxter Building. Out of over 1,000 registered copies with the CGC Census only 15 are NM or better and unrestored.
