What's Brave And The Bold #28 worth in 2025?
The CGC Census reports indicate that there is one known copy graded NM+ 9.6 that has never sold meaning there are no mint copies in existance at this time. This issue could sell for between $300,000 and $350,000. A CGC NM- 9.2 did bring $120,000 in 2013. GPA shows that CGC FN+ 6.5 graded copies have increased nearly 3X since 2009 going from $2,500 then to $9,000 in today's market. Low grade copies graded CGC GD 2.0 sold for $335 in 2009 and are bringing nearly $1,500 today. This is one of the Silver Ages major key books and as such we recommend picking this book up in any condition, especially with values being pushed by film as never before, but you will see a better return on your investment the higher the grade.

The Brave and the Bold #28 is valuable because it contains the 1st team appearance of the Justice League of America (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman). This mix of super heroes has lasted well over 50 years and has proven to be so popular it has spawned countless tv shows, cartoons, and films. The higher grade copies bring a preimu due to the fact that there are 1004 unrestored issues of the Brave and the Bold #28 registered with CGC but only 15 of these are VF/NM or better.
