Archie’s Girls Betty and Veronica followed the adventures of Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge, although Archie, Jughead and the rest of the characters from the original comics make appearances as well. The first issue was released in 1950 and the series ran for 347 issues. After that, the series continued with its new name, Betty and Veronica, almost immediately. The comics had over 25 pages and included five or six stories with Betty or Veronica as main characters, and we see the story developing through their eyes and perspective.
